Atlanta’s Corporate Event Photographer

EVENTS HAVE ENOUGH MOVING PARTS

You Have an Event to Run. You Shouldn’t Have to Manage Your Photographer.

An event can take months to plan and only hours to unfold. As an Atlanta corporate event photographer, Karen Images understands that your photography team should make the event easier to run—not become another thing you have to manage.

Schedules change. Speakers run long. Executives arrive early. Guests move somewhere you didn’t expect. Sponsors need visibility. Presentations need to stay on schedule. And the moments everyone worked so hard to create happen whether the photographer is ready or not.

The people producing the event already have enough to manage. You shouldn’t have to manage your photography team too.

Karen Images brings decades of experience in photography, video and live-event production to the room. We learn the schedule, understand the priorities, coordinate with your event and production teams, and anticipate what happens next.

Every detail is in place before the first guest arrives. Event photography begins with understanding what the client has worked to create.

The event environment is part of the story. We photograph the branding, details and experiences clients create—not only the people who attend.

So while you’re focused on making the event meaningful for the people attending it, we’re focused on making sure the story isn’t missed.

The strongest event photography does more than document attendance. It captures the people, relationships, atmosphere, branding and moments that communicate what the event was designed to accomplish.

Expanded Event Production

Through Metro Productions and our production partners, projects can expand to include professional audio, multicamera video, lighting, staging and AV support—giving clients fewer moving pieces to coordinate.

A Smooth Event Requires a Photographer Who Can Think Ahead

The best event photography often begins before the first guest arrives.

We review the schedule, understand the priorities, identify key people and presentations, and learn how the finished images will be used. Once the event begins, we work within its flow—anticipating transitions, adapting when schedules change and coordinating with planners, producers, venue teams and AV crews without adding another layer of management.

Because our experience extends into video and live-event production, we understand what is happening beyond the frame. We know when a production team needs space, when a speaker is about to take the stage and when the most important photograph may happen somewhere other than where everyone is looking.

Knowing the Organization Changes How You Photograph the Event

The event may bring people into the room. The relationships are what make the gathering matter.

For more than twenty years, Karen Images has photographed events for the Atlanta Commercial Board of REALTORS®.

Over that time, the assignment has become about much more than knowing how to photograph an event. It means understanding the organization, recognizing familiar faces, anticipating the rhythm of recurring programs and knowing which moments will matter after the room has emptied.

From networking and educational programs to awards, celebrations and major industry gatherings, that familiarity allows us to work independently within the event rather than requiring constant direction from the people producing it.

Our relationship within Atlanta’s real estate community has also expanded over the years, including approximately a decade of work with the residential side of the industry.

Recognition, leadership, entertainment and connection, years of experience teach us which parts of an event help tell the complete story.

Experience Means Knowing Where to Be Before the Moment Happens

Long-term relationships make us better at our job. When we already understand the organization and how its events work, the client spends less time directing the photographer, and we spend more time watching for the moments that tell the story.

Photographing the People Behind the Mission

For approximately five years, Karen Images has worked with Annandale Village, documenting events that bring together Villagers, families, supporters, volunteers and the people whose work makes the organization possible.

For Annandale, event photography has a purpose beyond documenting who attended. The photographs help communicate the relationships, accomplishments and sense of community behind the organization.

Some of the most meaningful moments aren’t on the schedule. They’re a reaction during a presentation. A family sharing an experience. A Villager celebrating an accomplishment. A quiet interaction that lasts only a few seconds.

Capturing those moments requires more than working through a shot list. It requires paying attention to people.

The moments that tell the story are often unscripted—a shared experience, an accomplishment, an interaction or simply being part of the day.

Images That Help the Story Continue After the Event

Event photographs can continue working long after the guests have gone home—as part of an organization’s communications, fundraising, community outreach and historical record. After five years of working together, familiarity matters. We arrive understanding that the assignment isn’t simply to photograph an event.
It’s to recognize the moments that help tell Annandale’s story.

Annandale Village’s work continues every day beyond the events we photograph. We invite you to learn more about their mission and the ways you can support the Villagers, families and community they serve.

Photography Within the Flow of the Event

Corporate events are ultimately about people. We stay aware of the production around them while keeping the experience at the center of the photograph.

Our ongoing work with Porsche Financial Services has included photography and video support for corporate meetings, employee experiences and presentations.

These environments require more than simply knowing where to point a camera. Executives, attendees, presentations, production crews and schedules all compete for the same space and time.

Because our experience extends beyond photography into video and live-event production, we understand the environment around the photograph. We anticipate transitions, coordinate with production teams and work within the flow of the event without becoming another element the client needs to manage.

That experience allows us to concentrate on what ultimately matters: the people, interactions and moments that tell the story of the event.

EXPERIENCE ACROSS CORPORATE EVENTS

From large-scale environments and presentations to guest interactions and experiences, understanding the entire event helps us recognize the photographs that matter.

Trusted to Work Behind the Scenes

Long-term corporate relationships are built on consistency, discretion and understanding the expectations of the organization. Our goal is simple: arrive prepared, work independently and deliver the imagery the client needs while allowing their team to remain focused on the event itself.

Not every event we photograph belongs to a corporation.

For select weddings and private celebrations, Karen Images and Metro Productions bring the same attention to planning, anticipation and storytelling to an experience where the moments matter for entirely different reasons.

Photography and cinematography work together to preserve not only how the celebration looked, but the people, relationships and moments that made it personal.

Our wedding work is available by private commission in Atlanta, throughout Georgia and worldwide.

Good event coverage starts before the doors open. Our process is designed to give your team clarity before the event, independence during it and useful imagery afterward.

1. Plan the Coverage

We learn the event schedule, priorities, key people, sponsor requirements and how the finished photography will be used.

2. Coordinate Beforehand

We work with planners, producers, venues and AV teams as needed so photography fits into the event rather than competing with it.

3. Work the Event Independently

We follow the plan, adapt when the plan changes and stay alert to the unscripted moments that cannot be recreated.

4. Deliver Images Ready to Work

Your finished photographs are professionally edited and organized for communications, marketing, social media, sponsors, internal use and future events.

Prepared before the event. Flexible during it. Useful long after it ends.
